Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TurfSlot platform operated by TurfSlot (GSTIN: 19OJTPS2896N1ZF) ("we", "us", or "Company"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview of the Platform

TurfSlot is an online turf/sports venue booking platform that enables sports venue owners ("Venue Owners") to list their courts and manage bookings, and enables end users ("Customers") to discover, book, and pay for time slots at these venues.

TurfSlot acts as an intermediary platform facilitating transactions between Venue Owners and Customers. We do not own, operate, or manage any sports venue listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.
• By registering as a Venue Owner, you represent that you have the legal authority to list and manage the venue.
• By booking a slot as a Customer, you represent that the information provided is accurate.

3. Account Registration

Users register via OTP-based mobile number verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Booking Process

Customers select a venue, choose a date, time slot, and duration, and pay an advance amount online through our payment partner (Cashfree Payments). The remaining balance, if any, is collected by the Venue Owner at the venue.

4.2 Advance Payment

The advance amount is determined by the Venue Owner and is payable at the time of booking. Any applicable platform fee is itemised and clearly displayed to the Customer at checkout before payment confirmation.

4.3 Payment Processing

All online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, a RBI-licensed payment aggregator. TurfSlot does not store any card or bank details. Payment settlements to Venue Owners occur as per Cashfree's standard settlement cycle (typically T+1 business day).

5. Platform Fee

TurfSlot may charge a platform fee on each booking. Where applicable, the fee is itemised to the Customer at checkout before payment, and to the Venue Owner in the settlement statement. Fee terms are set out in the agreement between TurfSlot and the Venue Owner and may be updated from time to time on prior notice.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for detailed information on cancellations, refunds, and no-show handling.

7. Venue Owner Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date venue information including operating hours, court availability, and pricing.
• Honour all confirmed bookings made through the Platform.
• Ensure the venue meets basic safety and playability standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

8. Customer Responsibilities

• Arrive at the venue on time for your booked slot.
• Follow the venue's rules and safety guidelines.
• Pay the remaining balance (if any) at the venue as indicated during booking.
• Treat venue property and staff with respect.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Provide false or misleading information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without our written consent.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of TurfSlot or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. Venue-uploaded content (logos, images) remains the property of the respective Venue Owners.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. TurfSlot does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We do not warrant the quality, safety, or condition of any venue listed on the Platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TurfSlot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the platform fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TurfSlot, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
