Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the refund and cancellation terms for bookings made through the TurfSlot platform. Please read this carefully before making a booking.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once the advance payment has been successfully processed through our payment partner (Cashfree Payments) and the customer receives a booking confirmation on the platform.
2. Cancellation by Customer
2.1 Before the Slot Time
Each venue sets its own cancellation rules. Typically, cancellations made well in advance (e.g. >4 hours before the slot) are eligible for a full or partial refund of the advance amount. Cancellations made close to the slot time may receive a reduced refund or no refund, depending on the venue's policy. The specific cutoff time and refund percentages are displayed on the venue page and during checkout.
2.2 No-Show
If the customer does not arrive at the venue for the booked slot, the advance is forfeited. No refund will be issued.
3. Cancellation by Venue Owner
If a venue owner cancels a confirmed booking for any reason (maintenance, closure, double booking, etc.), the customer is entitled to a full refund of the advance amount paid. The refund will be initiated within 3 business days and credited to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. The platform/convenience fee is non-refundable even in this case.
4. Venue Unavailability
If the venue is unable to provide the booked court at the confirmed time due to unforeseen circumstances (flood, power outage, government orders, etc.), the venue owner should either:
- Offer an alternative slot at the same venue at no extra cost, or
- Initiate a full refund of the advance.
5. Payment Failures
If a payment fails during the booking process but the amount is debited from your account:
- No booking will be created on our platform.
- The amount will be automatically refunded by Cashfree Payments within 5-7 business days.
- If the refund is not received within 7 business days, contact us at support@turfslot.in with the transaction details.
6. Platform Fee
The platform/convenience fee charged to the customer is non-refundable in all cases, including when the cancellation is initiated by the venue owner. This fee covers the cost of providing instant booking, payment processing, and customer support.
7. Refund Process
- Eligible refunds are initiated by TurfSlot or the Venue Owner through the platform.
- Refunds are processed via Cashfree Payments to the original payment method.
- Standard processing time is 5-7 business days from the date of refund initiation.
- The exact timeline depends on your bank or payment provider.
8. Disputes
For any booking or payment disputes, contact us at support@turfslot.in with the following details:
- Booking ID or reference number
- Registered phone number
- Description of the issue
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, etc.)
We will investigate and respond within 48 hours of receiving the complaint.
9. Chargebacks
Fraudulent chargebacks are taken seriously. If a chargeback is filed without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend the user's account and share relevant booking and payment evidence with the payment provider.
