Do customers need to install an app?+
No. The booking page opens in any modern phone or desktop browser. Customers select a slot, complete OTP verification, and pay — without account creation or app installation.
How long does onboarding take?+
Most venues go live within one business day of providing their court list, operating hours, rate card, and settlement bank details. We complete the configuration and share a preview link before the page is made public.
How are cancellations handled?+
Each venue configures its own refund policy. The default is non-refundable advances — consistent with industry norms for prime-slot turfs — but the policy is fully configurable from the owner dashboard.
Can staff operate the platform independently?+
Yes. Owners create role-scoped accounts for counter, manager, and finance staff. Each role has access only to the sections of the platform required for that function. Owners retain full visibility through their dashboard.
How is double booking prevented?+
When a customer initiates checkout, the slot enters a short-lived hold. If payment is not completed within the hold window, the slot is released automatically. No manual reconciliation is required.
What is your pricing model?+
TurfSlot operates on a per-booking commission — there is no setup fee or monthly subscription. The applicable commission is discussed and finalised during onboarding, based on the size and mix of your venue.
Which sports are supported?+
Football, cricket (turf and box formats), badminton, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and tennis are supported today. Additional sports can be added on request as part of the onboarding process.
Can slots be blocked for tournaments or maintenance?+
Yes. The owner dashboard supports blocking individual slots, full days, or recurring windows. Blocked slots are shown to customers as unavailable.
How are online payments handled?+
All online payments are processed by Cashfree — the same payment partner used by many large Indian businesses. We never see or store your customers’ card details. Money is transferred to your bank account directly.
Where is my data stored?+
Everything — bookings, customers, settings — is stored on servers based in India (Mumbai). Your data stays in the country.
